Since 1981 a remarkable building stands out in Rotterdam Lombardijen. In 30 years time, Baroeg has grown to be one of the best known venues in The Netherlands for alternative music. In 2006, we decided that a quarter of a century of Baroeg was worth a little birthdayparty. The outcome was bigger than we had hoped for: a killer line-up and 3500 visitors for a day with music in every style and a good ambiance. Metalheads, punkers, goths en neighbours walked hand-in-hand (well, almost) through the Spinozapark and in Baroeg...
In 2008 and 2010 we managed to repeat and improve the formula. With the experience of 2006 and an even stronger line-up we managed to attract 5000 attendants to the Spinozapark next to Baroeg. In 2010 we moved to the Zuiderpark (near Ahoy) and again we were very succesfull.
